This session discussed the findings of the ASPIRE project, and how they have been used to shape policy and practice in relation to violence against immigrant and refugee women, with a focus on Victoria and Tasmania. It outlined the challenges that were observed in supporting action based on evidence, and suggested strategies for strengthening the way research can be used by diverse sectors and communities to ensure migrant and refugee women’s safety.
