Tracey’s current position involves leading lawyers based in child safety service centres across Queensland. She has worked at Legal Aid Queensland in a variety of roles, including as the coordinator of Women’s Legal Aid, and has also worked as a senior solicitor, legal policy advisor, assistant director in Family Law Services, and in private practice. She has also practised in criminal law and anti-discrimination law.

Tracey specialises in family law, domestic violence cases, independent children’s representation and separate representation in child protection matters, and has worked in domestic violence policy and legislation development and strategic legal and court reform projects. She is the deputy chairperson of the Queensland Law Society Domestic and Family Violence Committee and has published articles on family law and access to legal aid services.
