Independent researcher and consultant, member of the Women’s Electoral Lobby Executive Committee
Jane is a social policy researcher with a background that includes research, evaluation, policy, advocacy and service delivery in academic, government and non-government contexts. Her primary areas of research are housing and homelessness, domestic violence, gender disadvantage, disability services and financial issues. In 2015-16 while at Social Policy Research Centre, UNSW, she and Dr Natasha Cortis undertook an ANROWS research project Building effective policies and services to promote women’s economic security following domestic violence.
