Chantelle is passionate about improving the lives of vulnerable people, with a particular focus on families, women and children.
She has 15 years’ experience working in government, including over seven years’ as senior executive, in both state and federal bureaucracies.
Chantelle currently oversees the Commonwealth’s policy and program development for family and domestic violence, complex violence and sexual assault, and is responsible for the National Plan to Reduce Violence Against Women and their Children. A role she has held since August 2017.
Most recently, Chantelle spent a year in Victoria supporting elements of their family violence royal commission response and out of home care reforms. Prior to this, she held senior positions overseeing the DSS Delivery Network, Program Reform and Strategy, and contributed significantly to the government’s shared services agenda.
She holds a Master of Public Policy and Leadership.
