Pranee Liamputtong is Professor or Public Health, School of Science and Health. She has established an outstanding body of research publications in the areas relevant to health social sciences. She has published 41 books, 168 journal articles and 129 book chapters. In Scopus, her h-index is 39, and i-10 index is 106. Total citations on 20 April 2018 are 12,303. Her research interests are in the areas of women’s health, mothers’ and children’s health, and reproductive and sexual health of culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) background communities in Australia, and of women in Asia. The main health-related issues of her research include breast cancer, HIV/AIDS, mental health, gestational diabetes, childbirth, motherhood, infertility, infant feeding practices, child health and childrearing, sexuality and sexual health. She has collaborated with researchers in Thailand, Malaysia and Vietnam, and together with these collaborators, she has obtained some international research funding. She has also been a CI on a number of research grants including those from ARC, NH&MRC, VicHealth and ANROWS.
