Policy Advisor, Domestic Violence Victoria

Erin is a Policy Advisor at Domestic Violence Victoria – the state peak body for specialist family violence services.

She is a qualified social worker and holds a Master of Arts in Professional and Applied Ethics. Her work has spanned two decades focusing on gender equality, family violence and violence against women in Canada, the United Kingdom and Australia. Her expertise includes family violence risk assessment and risk management, multi-disciplinary practice and partnerships, participatory action research, and applied ethics in program and policy development. In Victoria, Erin has led a range of family violence programs and initiatives in both government and community based roles. She was co-researcher for the ANROWS funded ASPIRE project, and is currently an advisor on the MuSeS project.
